Individual Art Psychotherapy in Schools

Working with 4-18 year olds in individual therapy. Both long and short term are available dependent on presentation and time frame available.

Group Therapy

Art Psychotherapy in schools as part of Group Therapy can help children, and young people, with either similar difficulties eg bereavement, transition, LAC, social difficulties etc or for a mixed group with mixed presentations. Groups are 90mins weekly.

Dyadic Therapy 

Working with a parent and child together by harnessing art psychotherapy in schools, can improve attachment, bonding and attunement. It can allow for opportunities to mirror and work on communication and emotional regulation. I also offer parenting strategies and support for improving family life.

Working in Partnership with Schools

My Art Psychotherapy in schools offering includes one to one reviews (with recommendations) with children's teachers, TAC meetings, SENCO review as well as whole staff training on mental health and emotional well being can be arranged.

Experience of Art Psychotherapy in Schools

Qualifying in 2009 I have experience working in CAMHS as an Art Psychotherapist and a LAC specialist. I have also worked in multiple schools (including special schools), council funded programmes, charities and private practice with
