Types of Therapy Offered
My approach is a compassionate, curious and creative focused Psychoanalytical approach (working with both what we are aware of and unaware of). It is focused on the impact of early childhood on social, emotional and relationship development (and Attachment theory) I draw on the Internal Family Systems (IFS) framework and use visualisations.
Though I predominately work as an Art Psychotherapy but I am flexible if clients want more of a talking based therapy. You don’t need to be “creative” to benefit from Art Therapy. Find out more about Art Psychotherapy

Short term or Long Term
Whilst there isn't a "quick fix" for mental health difficulties sometimes people are limited on time or just have a specific challenge that doesn't require more long term therapy. In these instances a short block of 8-12 sessions can be enough, this is planned in at the beginning on the work. Long term therapy does not have a time limit however by setting goals and regular reviews it is easier to gauge when these have been achieved.
